Implant Warranty & Aftercare for International Patients

Quick answer

Every implant and restoration Dr. İşler places comes with a written, multi-year warranty and a full records package (your panoramic X-ray, the itemised materials list and the implant lot numbers) so any dentist worldwide can service the work. Implants are warranted for five years or more and crowns and veneers for a shorter term, subject to attending check-ups. For the first 48 hours you eat soft food only, and we stay reachable on WhatsApp for remote follow-up.

What does the warranty actually cover?

The warranty covers the parts of your treatment we control: the implant integrating with your bone, and the crowns, bridges or veneers being free from manufacturing and fit defects. It does not cover avoidable damage or unrelated health problems, and we are upfront about that distinction before you sign, rather than hiding it in small print.

How long is each part guaranteed?

Different components carry different terms because they wear differently. The titanium implant is warranted for five years or more, while the crown or veneer on top (which takes daily chewing forces) carries a shorter term. Each item and its exact term is listed on your written certificate, so there is no ambiguity later.

What records do you take home?

You leave with a full records package, not just a receipt. It includes your panoramic X-ray, an itemised list of every material used, and the brand, product line and lot numbers of your implants. Because we use premium, globally distributed brands, any dentist worldwide can identify the parts and service your work for life.

How does remote follow-up work once I fly home?

You keep a direct WhatsApp line to Dr. İşler, not a call centre. During the healing months we review your progress from photos and, where useful, a fresh X-ray taken by a dentist near you. If something needs hands-on attention between trips, we brief a local dentist directly using your records so your care stays consistent.

What should I do in the first 48 hours?

For the first two days, eat only soft, lukewarm food and chew away from the surgical site. Avoid smoking, alcohol, hot drinks and straws, which can disturb healing. Mild swelling and discomfort are normal and settle with the painkillers we prescribe; if anything worries you, send us a photo and we will advise the same day.

What could void your warranty?

The exclusions are the avoidable ones: smoking during healing, skipping check-ups, neglecting oral hygiene, and grinding without a prescribed night guard. Accidental trauma and uncontrolled medical conditions are also excluded. None of this is hidden: we walk through every exclusion with you in plain language, because a warranty you don’t understand isn’t really protection.

  1. 1

    First 48 hours (post-op)

Eat soft, lukewarm food, avoid the surgical site when brushing, use any prescribed cold compress and painkillers, and do not smoke. Message us a photo if you are worried about swelling or bleeding.

  2. 2

    First week check-in

We check in on WhatsApp to confirm swelling is settling and pain is controlled. You send progress photos; we adjust advice or arrange a local review if anything looks off.

  3. 3

    Healing period review

During the 2–4 month osseointegration window we review healing remotely from your photos and, if needed, a fresh X-ray from a dentist near you before you book your crown trip.

  4. 4

    Local dentist handover

If an issue needs hands-on care between trips, we share your records package with a dentist near you and speak to them directly so treatment stays consistent.

  5. 5

    Long-term follow-up

We recommend an annual check and a professional clean with any dentist. Keep us on WhatsApp. With your lot numbers on file we can advise or coordinate a repair from anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is the warranty written down, or just verbal?
It is a written, itemised certificate that names each implant, crown and veneer with its warranty term. You receive it before you fly home, alongside your records package. Verbal-only guarantees are worthless if you ever need to prove a claim, so we put everything on paper.
How can my dentist at home honour the warranty?
The warranty is serviced through us, but we make it easy for a local dentist to step in. Because we place premium, globally distributed implant brands and hand over the exact lot numbers, any qualified dentist can identify the parts and order matching components. We coordinate directly with them where a repair is needed.
What actually voids the warranty?
The main exclusions are avoidable ones, such as smoking during healing, missed check-ups, poor oral hygiene, untreated gum disease, and grinding without a prescribed night guard. Accidental trauma and unrelated medical conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes are also excluded. We explain each exclusion in plain language before you sign.
What should I eat and avoid in the first 48 hours?
Stick to soft, lukewarm foods such as soup, yoghurt, eggs and pasta, and chew on the opposite side to any surgery. Avoid hot drinks, alcohol, smoking, straws and vigorous rinsing, which can disturb the clot. Most patients return to a near-normal diet within a few days.
How does remote follow-up work once I'm home?
You keep a direct WhatsApp line to the clinic and send photos if anything concerns you. For healing checks we can review your images and, if needed, a fresh X-ray taken by a dentist near you. If hands-on care is required between trips, we brief a local dentist using your records package.
If an implant fails within the warranty, who pays for the replacement?
If a covered implant fails to integrate within the warranty term, we replace the implant fixture at no charge for the component and surgery at our clinic. Travel and accommodation are not included, and any bone grafting needed is quoted separately. We always tell you honestly whether a replacement or an alternative is the safer option.
