What All-on-6 is

All-on-6 restores a whole jaw of missing teeth with a single fixed bridge screwed onto six dental implants. Unlike a removable denture it stays in place, and unlike replacing every tooth individually it needs only six well-placed anchors to carry a full arch of 10–12 teeth.

When we choose All-on-6 over All-on-4

All-on-4 is an excellent, well-evidenced solution, but it is not always the right one. We move to All-on-6 when your CBCT shows enough bone to place two more implants and when your bite is heavy: strong chewing muscles, a history of grinding (bruxism), or a full arch of natural or fixed teeth biting against the new one. Six implants spread that load across more points and brace the bridge more firmly (cross-arch stabilisation). If your bone is limited, we will still recommend a carefully planned All-on-4 rather than force in implants the bone cannot support.

How the treatment works, step by step

1. Remote assessment. You send a panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan and photos on WhatsApp. Dr. İşler checks whether six implants can be placed safely and sends a fixed, itemised quote.
2. Placement (trip 1). Under local anaesthetic, six implants are placed, and where they are stable enough a fixed temporary bridge is fitted the same day.
3. The final bridge (trip 2). After 2–4 months of healing, you return for the definitive bridge, made and adjusted to your bite.

Risks, and what to weigh

All-on-6 carries the same core implant risks as any implant treatment — early failure, peri-implantitis, and occasionally nerve or sinus involvement — with a few points specific to placing six:

• More implants need more bone. Reaching six often means grafting or a sinus lift, which adds surgery, healing time, cost and its own small risks. Where the bone isn’t there, a well-planned All-on-4 is the safer answer.
• More surgical sites. Six implants mean more places to heal; good aftercare and not smoking make a real difference to success.
• A margin, not a guarantee. The extra support helps if one implant struggles, but it doesn’t remove the need for meticulous daily cleaning and regular check-ups.
• Reasons to wait. Uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking and some bone medications (bisphosphonates) lower success — we treat or stabilise these first, and never place an implant in bone that can’t support it.

An All-on-6 arch costs more than All-on-4 because of the two extra implants and often a larger bridge.
