How the Price Is Worked Out
In short
From your photos and any X-ray I can tell you what you may need and roughly how many appointments it takes. The final plan and price are given in writing after I examine you, before any treatment starts. The price depends mainly on the treatment, the material and how many teeth are treated.
Why there’s no final price before you travel
Photos and X-rays don’t show everything. Decay between teeth, decay spreading under an old filling or gum disease that needs treating often only shows up at the examination. If a tooth that is due for a veneer or a crown has one of these problems, it has to be treated first, and that changes both the plan and the price.
On WhatsApp I don’t give a price range. What I tell you from your photos helps you decide whether to travel.
What sets the price
Fillings, veneers, crowns and implants are each priced separately, porcelain and composite veneers are priced differently, and the total depends on how many teeth are treated.
Treatment that has to be done first goes into the plan as well. If you need a filling, root canal treatment or gum treatment, it is done before veneers or crowns.
For implants, the bone also affects the price. If there isn’t enough bone, it may need to be built up before or during implant placement. That can’t be judged from a photo; we decide it from an X-ray or CBCT scan (a 3D X-ray).
What the written plan says
The plan lists what will be done to each tooth, how many appointments it takes and what you will pay. You can take it away, think it over and decide later.
Currency, payment and the examination fee
Prices are in Turkish lira. If you live abroad, I can also tell you the amount in euros. You can pay in cash or by credit card. I tell you the examination fee when you book; you can send me photos on WhatsApp before that.
If something changes during treatment
Sometimes a problem only shows once treatment has started. Decay under a filling may turn out to reach the nerve, for example, and the tooth then needs root canal treatment. If that happens, I tell you what I found before going on. Nothing is added to the plan without your agreement.
